Simplicio Mendoza or commonly known in the Happy Island as Chef Impling, regularly attend training and seminars to further improve their product and their business.
August 25, 2017 was a gloomy day in the Happy Island. It was once called the Land of the Howling Winds because Virac Catanduanes was in the typhoon belt.
And so it was, on that day, the Happy Island was under Signal number 1, due to Super Typhoon Jolina. But this did not stop the kickoff ceremonies of “Kapatid Mentor Me” in the Happy Island. The mentors were: Sir Armando Bartolome (Entrepreneurial Mindsetting and Values Formation) and Mr. Victor Madlangbayan (Marketing).
Fortunately, Chef Impling together with other Micro Small Medium Enterprises here in the happy island were qualified as mentees. To qualify they should be a business owner or manager of an enterprise with an asset of Php3 Million below and at least operational for a year.
“Kapatid: Mentor Me”
“Kapatid Mentor Me” is an extensive 10-week long training with 10 modules such as Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Operations Management among others that aim to help Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME’s) to further innovate and improve their products when it comes to producing and marketing.
On the 11th week, the Mentees (these are the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises who were qualified) will be presenting their business improvement plan to the trainors. This will include the things that they’ve learned from the lectures and one-on-one mentoring sessions and will include how these will help their business.
Look out for the improvement plan presentation of Chef Impling! Here in our kitchen, we aspire to always increase our perceived value. Passion and Excellence are our aim, bringing people and families together is our game.
